*Technical Note: This is a prototype QuickTime VR project made not with a camera and mount but by assembling photographs from Dunhuang cave 285 within a 3D model. The photographs were scanned from a book (cited below). Binding creases were left in so as not to sacrifice detail or proportionality. Cave geometry was obtained from measurements supplied by researchers on our project.
